Self-directed eLearning program lets students train at their own pace!
HeartCode(TM) BLS Online Part 1
An ideal option for healthcare providers seeking an alternative to traditional classroom training for first-time or renewal certification, this Web-based eLearning program uses eSimulation technology to present interactive, realistic patient scenarios and prepare a wide variety of healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies; perform CPR; use an AED; and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Available to providers anywhere there is Internet connectivity, the program includes short skills games that help reinforce learning objectives, and features a feedback and evaluation debriefing mechanism that lets students know if their actions are correct or incorrect.
NOTE: You must purchase one online HeartCode BLS Part 1 program for each student you need to train.
Upon completion of the online, cognitive portion of the course (Part 1), students can practice their skills (Part 2) and take the skills test (Part 3) with a certified American Heart Association ACLS instructor. Successful completion of all three parts meets requirements for the issuing of an American Heart Association BLS provider card. You must purchase one HeartCode(TM) BLS Online Part 1 for each student you need to train.
